have you spent years hiding, surviving, and wondering:
"is there a place where I can just be me?"
"who am i underneath this mask?"
maybe you've tried to fit in, stay small, or be "normal?"
but your body has been telling you the truth
—it’s time to listen.
you already know who you are.
my role is to help you reconnect with that knowing—
so you could live that truth fully and unapologetically.
about
welcome, dear! i'm glad you're here.
i'm Joelle Marcelle Antson (she/her), an Autistic ADHD trans woman from Estonia. i'm a Strozzi Institute for Somatics-trained somatic coach and bodyworker.
by coming home to my body, i've been growing into the fullness of my femininity and neurodivergence. i'm learning to unmask, soften, and take up space. that's why i long to hold space for other Autistic and ADHD, queer and trans people, and for anyone yearning to feel more liberated in their body and expression.
in our work together, you'll be invited to connect with your deepest longings and move toward them in actionable, embodied ways.
let's explore what that will look like for you. please book a free initial session below.
with care and curiosity,
Joelle Marcelle 🖤✨
in our work we may explore
feeling and tolerating more
acting aligned with your values
staying centered under pressure
setting boundaries while staying connected
knowing who you are and what matters to you
i've worked with complex challenges
gender expression and transition
(un)masking Autism and ADHD
supporting trans loved ones
chronic illnesses and pains
depression and anxiety
work with me
SOMA [ˈsəʊmə] (noun, Greek)—the living body in its wholeness (sensing, feeling, relating, thinking, and beliefs)
somatic coaching
somatic coaching supports embodied transformation through somatic awareness, practices, and opening—all grounded in social context. somatic transformation is the ability to act aligned with our values even under old pressures.
we weave together conversational coaching with body-based awareness and practices derived from martial arts to create new embodied, sustainable competencies.
all practices are adaptable for online sessions.
somatic bodywork
somatic bodywork is a hands-on approach, using skilled touch, breath, and supportive conversation to invite somatic opening.
while massage relaxes muscular armoring temporarily, somatic bodywork supports the needs the tension has been taking care of—like safety, belonging, and dignity—to release what's held.
bodywork is done fully clothed, on a massage table.

lineage, trainings, and qualifications
i am deeply shaped by my trans, queer, neurodivergent, and BIPOC friends and partners—thank you for the resonance your lives provided.
thank you to the Vanderbilt Divinity School's 19' cohort and professors, and the Divinity Friendship House for laying the foundation of socio-political understanding of harm and care. Nashville, thank you for one of the best years of my life.
thank you for inviting me into my body and teaching me to do the same for others: Erin C. Law and Dr. Roberto Che Espinoza, Staci K. Haines, Richard Strozzi-Heckler, Stephanie Meux, Anela Barboza, Erika Lyla, and other teachers of the Strozzi Institute for Somatics. to all the students—especially Mike Holton, Silvia Vernaschi, Zeena Ismail, Elizabeth Alexander, and Irene Carretero—it's the honor of my life transforming together. Rancho Strozzi, with its dojo, hills, eucalypti, and cows: you always bring me back to myself.
Beck Beverage, your presence has metamorphosed me. thank you for following my process so closely, and trusting the wisdom of my body when I couldn't. Lennon Molofsky, Hanna-Liis Lao, and Dorothea Magonet, your healing hands have held me when i've needed it the most.
i've been shaped by the work of Hillary L. McBride and Mike McHargue, Prentis Hemphill, adrienne maree brown, Daria Garina, and Kai Cheng Thom, Rebecca Sears and Belinda Hopkins, Dr. Devon Price and Heather Morgan, as well as Abigail Thorne and Natalie Wynn. thank you for your brilliance.
i rest on the Estonian embodied wisdom of saunaing, singing, and dancing—crystallized in the Song Festival tradition and the Singing Revolution.
i am humbled by all the people who have entrusted themselves into my care as clients.
thank you all for being my teachers. i am who i am because of you.
